About Coach Hill

Coach Phil Hill has been coaching basketball in Delaware for over 30 years. In that time, coach Hill started his coaching career in the Catholic Youth Ministry, and the Police Athletic League before transitioning to the high school level where he served as a head JV and assistant varsity coach at his alma mater Salesianum.

Coach is currently entering his 8th year at DMA and upon his arrival to DMA, coach Hill served as an assistant varsity coach his first year. In the 2013-2014 season, coach was fortunate enough on being elevated to Head Coach. During his first year at the helm, DMA qualified for the state tournament for the first time in school history. The second year brought a Conference Championship, another first in school history and another state tournament qualifier.

Coach Hill and his wife Karen have three children, two boys Tyler and Trevor who are graduates of DMA and they have a future DMA cadet in their daughter Maya. Coach Hill's motto..."Seize and take hold of your opportunities."

Program - All programs are from 5:30pm-9:00pm

Beginner Program

Our fundamental skills focus will be on shooting, dribbling, rebounding and defense. It will teach players the individual and team skills needed to improve their game, helping them to play better basketball and have more fun on the court.

Advanced Program

Our advanced program will focus on increasing technical skills in fundamentals. It will provided advanced techniques and improve on-court decision making through both individual and team skills. The program will teach players the skills and techniques needed to improve their game, increase their basketball level of play and prepare campers for future seasons of basketball.
